A friendly hotel, with a great setting in a wonderful location. The food in the main restaurant is amongst the best food I have eaten in a hotel, if you are staying you must eat there, if not staying then book in for a meal, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a lovely weekend celebrating my birthday. The staff was very helpful. They knew I was on a vegan diet and made sure I had a great experience. They even change the menu and cook me some delicious vegan dishes.

Where to start, thank you Highbullen! My wife and I recently got married at Highbullen Hotel and couldn't have been more pleased or impressed with the staff from start to finish on our planning journey... The other servers and staff at the venue couldn't have been anymore kind or helpful with anything that we or our guests needed. The food was fantastic on the evening before and the day of the wedding. If you are looking for a weekend break or for a wedding venue don't miss this gem! Thank you again to all at Highbullen!

Wow wow wow, this place is amazing!!! The building, grounds, service, rooms, food, spa are nothing but perfect. The staff are exceptional from the reception to the bar, restaurant, spa and even the friendly window cleaner. You are made to feel so welcome and comfortable, nothing is too much and all with a smile. I have stayed in many spa hotels all over the country for girls nights or couples get seats but this place is top of my list. Nothing but luxury in the most beautiful, tranquil setting. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful period building with lovely rooms to sit and relax. The bar was charming and relaxed with great staff, dinner was fabulous and enjoyed by all. Again we were well looked after. Our room, The Neil Room, was very special with a lovely bay window area with breathtaking views across the hills - absolutely stunning! The bed was comfy and looked lovely and wardrobe brought back childhood memories of Narnia. The chandelier was pretty special too. The only problem was we stayed for just one night - will definitely come back for more.

Great overnight stay at Highbullen, very warm welcome, lovely room and a pretty hotel.
We ate in the Devon view restaurant in the evening and the food was great quality and very tasty.
The ambience of the bar and lounge rooms were really lovely and cosy.

From start to finish during our two night stay, my family and I were treated to a break of the utmost quality.
The grounds and accommodation were stunning, with rolling hills that stretched to the horizon, well established shrubs and an abundance of wildlife in the beautifully maintained grounds.
The standard of food was impeccable; high quality ingredients cooked perfectly and served in top class surroundings...When our break came to an end, we certainly felt refreshed, relaxed, well-fed and above all, as if we'd be very happy to return to a place where we had felt so well looked after and cared for. 

It was the perfect setting for our wedding, having had to rebook 3 times due to the pandemic, all the staff were helpful and accomodating throughout the past 18 months! We cannot fault the service, it was first class! The food served in the Devon View restaurant and at our wedding reception was absolutely delicious (we were spoilt for choice during the complimentary tasting).
Our accommodation throughout our stay was lovely, comfortable and luxurious with stunning views. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We cannot recommend Highbullen enough and will definitely visit again!

What a fantastic 3 night stay, perfect in every way. We were in the sportsmans lodge, a very comfortable room with a great view down the valley from full length french windows. And a useful lobby area for our outdoor and golf gear.

The Devon View restaurant had amazing food and views with menus changing every day. Quite the best meals we've had in a long time. The Cellars was also very good. And we had pre dinner drinks in a very elegant lounge with a roaring fire.
The staff were attentive and friendly without exception. Top marks.

Fantastic weekend made even better by their superb staff and fabulous food. We have been regular visitors to HB over many years and we look forward to returning again very soon! We were made very welcome from the minute we arrived to the minute we left.
